This policy describes how Auto Electronics Lab handles information in connection with Auto Electronics Lab Manager, a privately operated integration with eBay.
Depending on which application features are enabled, the integration may access eBay listing and inventory information, publicly available marketplace listing information, and eBay buyer communications and associated identifiers. The integration also receives eBay account-deletion notifications to support deletion requests. Access to buyer messages and other account information requires authorization through eBay.
Information is used to manage Auto Electronics Lab eBay listings, assess publicly available marketplace information, prepare buyer-message drafts for review by the account owner, and meet applicable eBay privacy and data-deletion requirements. Draft messages are intended to be reviewed and approved by the account owner before sending.
Application data may be processed on an access-controlled computer operated by Auto Electronics Lab. Transport encryption, authorization controls, and restricted application access are used as appropriate. No online system can guarantee absolute security.
Information is retained only as needed for the stated purposes or applicable legal obligations. eBay account-deletion notifications are processed to identify and remove applicable personal data from application-controlled storage, subject to lawful retention requirements. Backups and other data stores must also be covered by the application's deletion procedures. If a request cannot be completed automatically, it requires follow-up by the operator.
Information is not sold to advertisers. Information may be processed by infrastructure providers necessary to operate the service or disclosed when required by law.
